Sonoma Fire

oil on canvas 36 x 36 x 2 PRICE: $4,500 (unframed) This is an art therapy painting made during the Sonoma fire of 2019. I started with expansive, fresh blues on a large canvas to help me stay calm before a big move. I left the blue canvas in the corner while I was packing and the Sonoma FIRE started blazing. I was deeply affected and concerned and felt compelled to express what was happening inside of me... and so I added the bright firery red and orange band moving fiercely across the cool blue sky.
